Clear form, precise sphere: The petrol-coloured hydroquartz spheres attached to the hoops measure 10 mm in diameter and are cut by hand, creating an even, intense colour effect and a lively play of light. The hoops are elaborately crafted and feature a deliberately designed surface with the appearance of a rough, unhewn yet finely textured structure, precisely worked to create depth and a nuanced interplay of light and shadow.
Finished with a high-quality 750 gold plating, the Luna Orb hoops combine geometric simplicity with modern clarity.
A calm yet expressive design.
The hoops are made of jewellery brass. The 5 µm-thick 750 gold plating in 18-karat gold is applied over a palladium layer. The finishing is carried out by a specialised electroplating company in Pforzheim. Hydroquartz is a laboratory-grown crystal. The hydroquartz spheres are cut by hand and carefully finished.

High-Quality 18k Gold Plating (Doublé)
This piece of jewelry is finished with an approx. 5 µm thick layer of 18k gold (75% pure gold). At this thickness, the plating represents a high-quality finish and is referred to in the jewelry field as Doublé.
The finishing process takes place in a specialized electroplating facility in Pforzheim, with which we have worked for many years. First, a palladium layer is applied as a protective and barrier layer, followed by the gold plating. This results in an even and durable surface.
Production is carried out deliberately in a long-standing partner company in Germany under controlled conditions.
Compared to simple plating, this finish is characterized by a higher gold content, strong durability, and a warm, deep color effect.
Hydro Quartz – Clear Color, Precise Effect
For this Doll Up Sister design, we have deliberately chosen hydroquartz. In this piece, an even, clear color and a calm, refined appearance are essential.
Hydroquartz is a lab-grown crystal known for its intense, uniform color and lively brilliance. Unlike many natural stones, it shows hardly any irregularities—resulting in a clean, precise look.
The hydroquartz spheres are hand-cut and carefully finished. The result is jewelry in which color, form, and surface are precisely aligned with the design.
