Details on Origin, Materials, and Craftsmanship
All jewelry pieces are designed and crafted in our own atelier in Germany. Most components are sourced from experienced manufacturers in Germany. This keeps the origin of materials and the production process intentionally transparent and manageable.
For the AMALA and HEART UP lines, silver and gold jewelry pieces are cast in Germany and further refined in our atelier. Selected additional components are sourced from specialized workshops, including chains manufactured in Germany.
The surface finishing is carried out by a specialized electroplating company in Pforzheim. A palladium layer is first applied as a protective and barrier layer, followed by a gold plating with a thickness of approximately 5 µm. This process is considered one of the highest quality methods of jewelry finishing and creates an even, durable surface. The finishing is intentionally carried out in Germany under applicable environmental regulations.
All plastics and plastic elements used by AMALA as well as for DOLL UP SISTER and HEART UP are manufactured exclusively in Germany. Production takes place either directly within the atelier or in close collaboration with a family-run company producing selected components specifically for AMALA. This ensures transparent and traceable origins, material quality, and craftsmanship. Manufacturing takes place under high European environmental, safety, and labor standards. Naturally, all plastics used are free from harmful plasticizers.
For the DOLL UP SISTER line, most metal components originate from German production. Carefully selected metal alloys are used, manufactured according to established European standards. Certain material qualities additionally use OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified alloys. A large proportion of the stones and crystal glass stones used are also produced in Germany and Austria by long-established manufacturers with high quality and production standards.
Across all lines, short distances, manageable structures, and close collaboration with experienced manufacturers and workshops form the basis for responsible production and consistently high quality.
Additional information on materials, craftsmanship, and special manufacturing details can be found within the “Manufacturing Details” section of each individual jewelry piece.
