High-Quality 18k Gold Plating (Doublé)
This piece of jewellery is finished with a gold plating of 10 milliemes in 18k gold (75% pure gold). This represents a high-quality gold plating and is referred to in the jewellery field as Doublé.
The finishing process takes place in a specialized electroplating facility in Pforzheim, with which we have worked for many years. First, a fine palladium layer is applied as a high-quality intermediate finish, followed by the gold plating. This results in an even and durable surface.
Production is carried out deliberately in a long-standing partner company in Germany under controlled conditions.
Compared to simple plating, this finish is characterized by a higher gold content, high durability, and a warm, deep colour effect.
