The jewelry brand AMALA was founded in 2005 by Sophia Kirsch-Wahl. Under this name, the designer and trained goldsmith creates pieces in gold and silver, combined with high-quality gemstones, softly shimmering pearls and experimental materials. Characteristic of her work is a modern timelessness that turns each piece into a playful – often subtly humorous – homage to traditional craftsmanship.

In addition to numerous publications in trade and consumer magazines such as Elle, Schmuckmagazin, Brigitte, Hochzeit, InStyle and various fashion blogs, two signature pieces from this line – the iconic Heart Ring and the legendary Ram Ring – are part of the jewelry collection of the Museum im Prediger in Schwäbisch Gmünd, one of Germany’s most significant museums of applied arts.
