DOLL UP SISTER – From Vintage to Kawaii

In 2009, Sophia Kirsch-Wahl founded her second brand, DOLL UP SISTER – the young, trendy, and fashion-forward counterpart to the high-end jewelry label AMALA. Born from a love of historical, hand-engraved steel molds and the desire to revive them in a new and creative way, the concept quickly took shape. Since then, jewelry pieces with a unique vintage character have emerged: delicate brass elements made using original embossing molds from 1880 to 1960 carry the elegance of the Victorian era and the flowing lines of Art Nouveau. Combined with gemstones, antique Bohemian glass, and lovingly hand-modeled figures, these pieces build an artistic bridge between past and present.

Yet DOLL UP SISTER is more than that – it is also an homage to the Japanese Kawaii style, representing cuteness, innocence, and playful aesthetics.
